In this report, Which? have tested, reviewed and compared the features of 134 different built-in, full-sized, slimline, compact and tabletop dishwashers and listed the 30 best buy dishwashers on offer. Which? product tests are impartial and very thorough. They have tested the 134 dishwashers for the cleaning quality on offer by each different model. For the full size dishwasher models, each dishwasher program is run with a load containing 127 different items ranging from plates, glasses, bowls, etc each stained with eggs, meat, spinach, oat flakes, tomato juice, milk, and tea and have been left to dry for two hours. Three runs are conducted with cleaning capabilities assessed as well as noise and energy consumption. For items that are heavily soiled, the intensive clean programs are tested to review their cleaning capabilities.
